How to start Bible Journaling for Beginners

Bible Journaling is not necessarily a new concept. I can honestly say that Bible Journaling has completely improved my relationship with God. For the times I didn't journal, I sometimes forgot as soon as I closed my Bible.

However, Bible Journaling makes what I read stick with me because I’m spending time in the Word.more

These tips will help you as you start Bible Journaling:

1.Choose a Bible Study Journal

A Bible study Journal will help articulate what you are studying from the scriptures. Using a Bible Study Journal is an exciting way to engage with Scripture. It can transform the way you spend time in the Word.

Our Quiet Time Bestie is a good starter for you if you're just starting your Bible Journaling journey. This Journal is divided into sections that will help you.
2.Select a Bible verse or chapter

Selecting the Verse or Chapter you want to study will help dig deep into the scripture. After selecting the chapter, you can start writing down your learning points and how to apply them to your life.

3.Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you

The Holy Spirit is our greatest teacher and there is no doubt about this. A very present help. Asking Him to teach you will deepen your walk with God.

4.Pray about what you write down.

After studying, certain things need changes because the word changes us and transforms us into the image of the Son. So praying about these things will cause actual transformation in our lives

5.Make it Personal.

When Journaling, don't think of someone else. Many times we tend to look at someone else and what they are doing wrong, but what we should take a look within.

6.Use different translations.

Using different translations will help deepen your knowledge of the verse you are studying.
